The innovative valve design also eliminates the need for metal bolts required to hold traditional valves together. Instead, the bonnet is threaded directly onto the body, eliminating the need to re-torque the bolts due to thermal expansion. With its metal-free threaded bonnet connection, corrosive build-up is minimized in applications with highly aggressive media.
Additional design features include rounded contours with smooth transitions and radii, which provide less abrasion and noise emission. Color coding on the housing nut and on the housing itself allow easy indication of pressure rating and diaphragm material. A two-color position indicator, which is clearly visible from a distance, shows the actual valve position.
• Valve assembly: Threaded connection without bolts.
• Lower body (wetted): PVC, CPVC, PP, Natural PP, PVDF, ABS.
• Upper body: Glass-filled polypropylene (PN 10).
• Diaphragm material (wetted): EPDM, FPM, PTFE with FPM backing, PTFE with EPDM backing, NBR.
